Multiple Private Equity-backed Businesses
Building on 10+ years of technical due diligence activity, Cogitant has developed a service offer with partner Beyond M&A providing early-stage analysis of acquisition targets for private equity buyers. These Outside-In reviews provide a fast non-intrusive analysis of targets across business, operating model and technology dimensions, based on public domain information only, and without involvement of the target. These reviews provide an initial assessment of technology deployed, information security posture, and high-level risks. In addition, review output provides valuable insight when conducting more detailed due diligence directly with the target.
Some reviews have also been undertaken at the request of the businesses being sold. In these cases the review findings help the seller maximise sale value by addressing or eliminating issues prior to buyer due diligence.
