Mitigating infrastructure-based business continuity risks
This 1994 group University needed to reduce its exposure to infrastructure-based risks and improve service levels. Cogitant provided a structured approach supporting the options analysis and decision-making processes, and supported development of a business case for new facilities that was approved by the University Executive Board IT subcommittee in late 2010. Mike represented the University IT function's interests during the design, build and commissioning phases of the development, and chaired the steering group overseeing migration of equipment and services to the new facility. The project successfully achieved risk mitigation goals and delivered live services early in 2012.
