Developing an IT Strategy and Action Plan
Cogitant worked with the CIO, IT management team and Executive Board members of this 1994 Group UK University to develop an IT strategy aligned with the University's vision, and addressing a series of operational and structural challenges faced by the team. Mike provided a structure and process for the development, analysed the as-is situation and key drivers for change, and proposed a programme of changes encompassing operating model and technology landscape. Mike supported the CIO in discussing the proposed strategy with stakeholders, and developed a draft action plan for the implementation of the recommendations made within the strategy.
