Directing a review and planning exercise for a complex international systems development project
This international logistics company was seeking to identify how best to develop its portfolio of customer-facing supply-chain solutions, in line with developing business needs worldwide. The CIO engaged Cogitant to drive an efficient review and planning activity, working with his Applications Director and team. Mike directed the detailed review and planning activity involving client teams from the IT and business development teams in Europe, North America and Asia. He organised and managed seven parallel client-staffed workstreams each tasked with defining requirements and solution approaches in a particular scope area. Mike prepared updates and final recomendations for Board-level review, working with corporate finance to develop financial models for a number of different investment scenarios.
